Kosher Supermarket store opens in Miami, have you heard someone say Kosher’? For the first time you hear that word, it sounds like a foreign term and you would wonder what the other person tries to say. And the person who says it would mostly be a Jew. So why exactly does he say this? Because Kosher is a practice that Jews follow which means Suitable or Pure.
Kosher certification relates to the food items. According to the laws of Torah, Jews are supposed to consume food that does not cause pain to the animal. It does not mean that the Jews are Vegetarians. But, they consume the meat of the animals which die instantaneously without suffering from prolonged pain.
Jews are highly religious and consider their Shabbos with utmost importance. But the problem of identifying Kosher certified foods was long seen, and now the Jewish community around the Miami area has got a reason to celebrate. This is because of the opening of KosherLand Market – A one stop shop for all your Kosher-certified foods.
Centrally located in the Surfside charming district, KosherLand Supermarket serves the Jewish community of Bal Harbour, Surfside, Bay Harbour Islands and Indian Creek Islands. They also deliver your foods. But you must act fast and stock foods before Friday as the KosherLand Market is closed on Saturday due to the Sabbath.
KosherLand Market serves a variety of food. On Thursdays and Fridays, you can relish the home-made Shabbos dinner. You can book the food online and get it delivered or you can sit and relish them inside the store. The dairy section has cheeses, yogurts, and milk, but all these are only Challah Yisroel’ (Jewish Milk), which means the animals were milked under the supervision of an orthodox Rabbi.
KosherLand is also the only place in Florida to offer the Beit Yosef meat. And the interesting part? These are fresh meat and are not previously frozen! The store has also got a butcher who can cut the meat according to your needs. It also has bakery items like bread, bagels etc. but none of these can be found on the shelves the next day! They strictly discard bakery items that are a day old.
The wine section offers more than 65 variants that are made from high-quality grape variants such as Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Champagne, Sauvignon Noir etc. As the Pesach is approaching in 10 days, they have created a menu with 43 dishes including Organic Roasted Chicken Package, Beef Brisket Package, Chicken Legs Teriyaki, Stuffed Cabbage, Potato Kugel and many varieties of salads, soups and side dishes. But the orders must be made one week before the Pesach to be processed.
From now, never worry about the suitable food during the Sabbath. Call (305)866-6993 or visit 9647, Harding Avenue, Surfside, Florida – 33154 and have a happy meal and a happy Sabbath!
